Acquired at the end of 2018 through a joint venture between Hines and Blue Noble, Milano Ripamonti is a student housing development located in via Ripamonti, Milano. Featuring over 700 beds in more than 600 high-quality individual units, it offers elegant living solutions for students and young professionals alike.
Management of the property was assigned to Aparto, the operator for Hines group’s student accommodation.
The project involved the construction of a new building for a total of approximately 15,000m2 GFA, spanning 9 floors above ground and 2 basement levels, as well as the restoration of an existing building with architectural constraints for a further 17,000 m2, also developed across 9 storeys with an additional 2 floors underground. The site also features a common unit dedicated to services and warehouses.
Bestmind acted as a consultant to the General Contracting company, providing Project and Construction Management services, also supervising the definition phase of the executive and construction design, specifically civil and MEP considerations. Bestmind then provided technical and management support in the final phase of design definition, with a focus on the civil and plant construction phase.
Bestmind’s involvement continued through the testing of the structures and systems, also taking responsibility for the management and delivery of the Fit-Out and FF&E.
It is an urban real estate development focused on the regeneration and enhancement of the area. The project integrates new functions and services.
Integration with the urban context and stakeholder management are key elements. Ensuring design consistency is essential.
