This appointment has required c<strong>ompliance with tight deadlines<\/strong>, the <strong>simultaneous management of numerous construction sites<\/strong>, and <strong>the maintenance of full hospital operations<\/strong> in order to guarantee the availability of all healthcare services and the highest standards of care, particularly in the field of emergency and urgent care. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In this context, Bestmind has had the honor of supporting Niguarda through <strong>Project Management<\/strong> and <strong>Program Control<\/strong> activities, providing technical and operational coordination as well as supervision of all construction sites under its remit in the Milan area. On 29 January, five new areas of ASST Grande Ospedale Metropolitano Niguarda Ca\u2019 Granda were inaugurated as part of the Olympic programme: <\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Olympic Emergency Department<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Olympic Family Area <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>New General Emergency Department (DEA) Entrance<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>RAT Area within the DEA<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Olympic Ward in the Rossini Building<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Through <strong>Dyana<\/strong>, the data analytics solution developed by Bestmind, designed to provide a clear and unified view of project status with periodic and automated reporting, the team was able to effectively support the Technical Office and all Project Managers in a highly complex operational environment.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The programme represented <strong>one of the most significant healthcare infrastructure transformation initiatives at national level<\/strong>, both in terms of scale and operational complexity, and constituted a key element in preparing the public healthcare system for an international event such as Milan\u2013Cortina 2026, which is expected to host more than 3,500 athletes from 93 countries. <br\/>Following the handover of the Olympic facilities, the programme continues with the works planned under the PNRR, with Bestmind continuing to support the monitoring and operational management of all projects.<br\/> <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-layout-flex wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button is-style-fill\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link has-white-color has-gray-dark-background-color has-text-color has-background has-link-color wp-element-button\" href=\"&lt;!--[CDATA[https:\/\/new.bestmind.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/Niguarda_olimpiadi.pdf]]--&gt;\">Download the press release<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ASST Grande Ospedale Metropolitano Niguarda is currently undergoing an extensive programme of infrastructural works, redevelopment and expansion as part of the broader investment framework of Italy\u2019s National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR) and the initiatives linked to the Milan\u2013Cortina 2026 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
