Achieved by only a handful of public hospitals in Italy, this milestone required not only the continuous enhancement of clinical and organisational processes, but also a major programme of infrastructure modernisation and transformation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As part of this journey, Bestmind supported Niguarda through Project Management, Programme Control and Data Analytics services for the projects funded under the Milan-Cortina 2026 Olympic Programme and Italy's National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR), coordinating <strong>30 construction sites<\/strong> across more than <strong>18 buildings<\/strong> throughout the hospital campus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The challenge was particularly demanding: delivering refurbishment, expansion and infrastructure upgrade works <strong>while ensuring uninterrupted hospital operations and maintaining full continuity of patient care.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To support this transformation, Bestmind developed a <strong>digital Information Centre<\/strong> based on Microsoft Power BI, designed as a single platform for <strong>monitoring<\/strong>, <strong>planning<\/strong> and <strong>controlling<\/strong> the entire transformation programme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"526\" src=\"https:\/\/new.bestmind.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/mappa3-1024x526.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3407\" srcset=\"https:\/\/new.bestmind.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/mappa3-1024x526.png 1024w, https:\/\/new.bestmind.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/mappa3-300x154.png 300w, https:\/\/new.bestmind.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/mappa3-768x394.png 768w, https:\/\/new.bestmind.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/mappa3-1536x788.png 1536w, https:\/\/new.bestmind.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/mappa3.png 1668w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Interactive map of active construction sites<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The platform brought together spatial, technical, financial and scheduling data for every hospital building, providing stakeholders with a single, <strong>real-time view of ongoing and planned works<\/strong> across the entire campus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"559\" src=\"https:\/\/new.bestmind.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/schede-multilivello-1024x559.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3410\" srcset=\"https:\/\/new.bestmind.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/schede-multilivello-1024x559.png 1024w, https:\/\/new.bestmind.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/schede-multilivello-300x164.png 300w, https:\/\/new.bestmind.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/schede-multilivello-768x419.png 768w, https:\/\/new.bestmind.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/schede-multilivello-1536x838.png 1536w, https:\/\/new.bestmind.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/schede-multilivello.png 1692w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Through interactive maps and <strong>multi-level dashboards<\/strong>, the platform provides access to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>real-time construction progress;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>type of works (civil and architectural works, building services, fire protection and structural upgrades);<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>contractors, project managers, Contracting Authority Representatives (RUPs) and site supervisors;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>funding programmes and funding sources;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>floor plans and space allocation;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>departments affected, publicly accessible areas and temporarily restricted areas;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>planning of departmental relocations and continuity of healthcare operations<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Information Centre was developed using spatial, technical, financial and scheduling data collected from multiple stakeholders involved in the hospital transformation programme. These data were subsequently integrated, structured and made accessible through a single environment for monitoring, planning and control.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Bestmind was responsible for designing and developing the platform, integrating and structuring the information, managing the data, and coordinating the operational deployment of the system.
